Kikusui Sr. Housing North&South

Two one-hundred-unit senior housing facilities were master planned within a 20 ha site, which is currently a golf course in the hills behind the city of Kobe. Both buildings has a similar set of program - approximately 100 residential units, a restaurant and a cafe, recreation rooms, a gym and a swimming pool. An extra attention is paid to the way the buildings sit within the hilly but beautifully manicured landscape, and how they are viewed from the city below. [master planning for a Japanese client]
