The quality of Architecture depends on three elements constituting the making of Architecture.

 

The architects need to understand and be able to propose the design best suited for the givens as well as the undefined possibilities of a project. This depends on his/her ability to know what is appropriate, to self-criticize what is on the board during design, and to synthesize the design solution, which unselfishly benefits the project in a well-balanced way.

 

Then, the project management must be sensitive to the values being produced, and the responsibility the project will have to many parties concerned. The delivery process affects the end-product just as much as the design.

 

Lastly, it is only as good as the client demands and allows it to be. The better educated clients are about Power of Architecture, the better their projects will become no matter what the budget level may be. To this end, we must take every opportunity to inform, debate, and explore values, which, Architecture, and Architect, can bring, in public forum, magazine articles, and publication of all genre.
